I cannot recommend Marius, Ovidiu and everyone at Progressive Design enough. When gathering quotes for our house renovation (open plan kitchen with rear extension, downstairs w/c and utility room), we struggled to find builders who people would recommend and heard plenty about how stressful house renovation could be...but we didn't experience any stress with Progressive and couldn't be happier to recommend them to anyone planning to update their house.
Marius demonstrated his professionalism from our very first meeting, and throughout the four month project he and his team consistently impressed. Progressive Design care about ensuring their clients have the best experience possible, and actively work to minimise the typical problems encountered during renovations. The team work hard, are true professionals and consistently tidy. Marius is calm, considerate, conscientious, consultative and reliable, and every one within Progressive displays the same qualities. I met weekly with him as well as Ovidiu to discuss progress, and they were both always on hand to advise, guide as well as expertly manage expectations throughout.
As a result, our project was completed within the estimated timeframe to a seriously high quality, with everything from the major considerations to the most minor request accommodated without question. In addition, Ovidiu and the team have remained in contact to deal with every minor tweak we've subsequently needed.
We're over the moon with the results and love spending time in our renovated home.
I'm happy to recommend Progressive Design and am so pleased we partnered with them on our project.

Our Kensington project is completed.
It has been a fantastic project to work on and the transformation is incredible. Whoever resides in this property will enjoy a beautiful family home in the centre of London, with luxury finish and stunning accommodation over 5 floors.

The answer is 'Yes'.
If you do not provide structural drawings to your potential contractors then your estimates are pure assumption on one of the most important aspects of a Remodel or New Build!
Golden rule - 'Never Assume"
I have had so many clients in 2021 ask whether they need to go to the expense of structural drawings prior to us providing a quote.
The structural engineer is a licensed professional whom property owners must consult on structural implications of the addition of living space or removal of load-bearing walls, all of which will need to be properly permitted and constructed by a licensed professional.
They provide drawings for your contractor to tell them what extents they must go too to build your design, including important materials that can attract quite a cost - such as Steel beams and if new walls are required, which will then require new foundations to be laid. Older homes or complicated structures can require a structural engineer in order to ensure the site meets the up-to-date standards of code.

We collaborate with Architects and Clients. If you have ideas we can get them onto paper, if you have plans we will build them.
