The Client has the concept, the Architect draws the concept and the Contractor creates it. Should you chose the designer option then they will complete it with your furniture and finishes.

With clear communication and planning everything can be implemented.

Whether your chosen Architect is through us or an independent choice, Progressive Design will work alongside them to execute your dream home. You can instruct us at design stage or at tender stage. We will provide a detailed estimate for your build once you have completed structural drawings and a full project brief. We have tools to help you create a project brief prior to works commencing so that your project stays on schedule as best it can.

Our collaboration with Architects and Designers is nurtured by Toria to ensure our clients achieve all they wanted to in their homes. She joined the Progressive Design team after we remodelled her family home.

The Design and Build Process

  • Initial contact with Progressive Design will be a telephone consultation with one of our team. This will help us to guide you into the correct direction depending on what stage you are at.
  • Once the architects drawings are completed and structural drawings received by us we can provide a detailed estimate for your project, You will then agree a date for a face to face consultation to discuss your project in more detail.
  • You will be provided with a detailed estimate for your project and potential start dates.
    Upon acceptance of our estimate the commencement date is agreed and build contract signed.
  • Preliminaries begin.
  • Introduction to your project team and our client care team who will guide you throughout the project. You will have a direct mobile number and email for contact. They will assist with ensuring your decisions are made at the right times, help resource speciality products, answer any questions you may have and ensure key deadlines are met.
  • 2 weekly meetings with Marius the Managing Director.
  • Handover of care package.
  • Official handover.
  • Maintenance package agreed (Optional extra).
  • Practical completion – Clients can move into the home.
  • Official completion – Building control certificate provided.
  • Urgent snagging (Takes place in first 4 weeks after practical completion).
  • 6 months snagging.
  • 1 year meet with clients and final snagging agreed.
